Qurbani

More than 3,500 people receive Qurbani meat during Eid-ul-Adha.

During Eid-ul-Adha, Small Efforts arranges Qurbani and distributes the meat to families who rarely have access to it, so that they are part of the occasion rather than outside it.

More than 3,500 individuals have received Qurbani meat. For many recipient households this is among the only meat they will eat all year, which makes it a nutritional contribution as much as a religious one.

The distribution is organized around the values the occasion is meant to carry: sharing, compassion, generosity and community.
